Wynona's House Child Advocacy Center

Wynona's House is a non-profit organization that provides children who have been victims of child abuse and their families with the opportunity to obtain justice and begin to heal. The center houses four different departments (Child Advocacy Center, DCP&P, Essex Country Prosecutor's Office, and Newark Beth Israel's RDTC) that through interdisciplinary collaboration, work in an effort to collect evidence, oversee case management, provide mental health services, and coordinate legal proceedings. Through community outreach and advocacy, Wynona's House attempts to spread awareness about child abuse prevention.

Eligibility: All cases are based on referrals from Police Departments, Newark Beth Israel's Medical Center, the Essex Country Prosecutor's Office, or New Jersey's Division of Child Protection and Permanency.
